VI to encourage UK to 'reconsider' reserved Order in Council- VI tells UN
NEW YORK CITY, USA- The Virgin Islands delegation that will travel to the United Kingdom (UK) in November, 2022, will, among other things, encourage the UK Government to reconsider its current position on maintaining an Order in Council in reserve.

DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI- An ambitious motion to form a delegation that would have included Members of the House of Assembly as well as CARICOM and Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and United Nations (UN) officials to travel to London to seek to reverse the Order in Council to suspend the Virgin Islands Constitution and impose direct rule was made and subsequently withdrawn in the House of Assembly on July 19, 2022.
