‘Give our people a chance’- Premier urges RDA
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – With the new school year in the Virgin Islands (VI) officially starting on September 2, 2019, Premier and Minister of Finance, Hon Andrew A. Fahie (R1) has revealed that the hurricane damaged Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) L-shaped building will be re-opening as a direct result of a mandate he passed on to the VI Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) to hire more local contractors.

The NDP administration may never recover from the fatal blow delivered to them by the Virgin Islands’ electorate. The full-blown dissatisfaction of the territory was unreservedly expressed at the polls, and everyone including those who had no interest in local politics, ensured that the handsome gentlemen above will never be allowed to sit in the House of Assembly as government heads again.

Orlando Smith, National Democratic Party (NDP) government, the United Kingdom (UK) through a recovery and reconstruction package for the Virgin Islands (VI) had promised up to £300 million in loan guarantees and £10 million in grants to support the Territory's recovery after Hurricanes Irma and Maria of 2017.

Harneys awarded contract to provide legal services for RDA
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The international offshore law firm, Harneys, has been awarded a contract to provide legal services for the Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) on an “as required basis” for a period of two years.
