'Let’s have aerial search for anyone trapped' – Resident
As word circulated about a near death experience of a woman who was trapped in her home for days and rescued yesterday August 10, 2017 by the Virgin Islands Fire and Rescue Services, persons are now appealing to the authorities to conduct an aerial search for others likely trapped.
Heavy rains expected tonight & throughout Wednesday
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Virgin Islands has been told to brace itself for showers tonight and throughout tomorrow due to a tropical wave, which is currently a couple of hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Virgin Islands began experiencing heavy rains last night, July 30, 2016 and the weather condition is expected to last for most of the day as a fast-moving tropical wave, being referred to as Invest 97L, enters the extreme eastern Caribbean sea moving westward.
