ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The inmate serving a life sentence at Her Majesty's Prison in Balsam Ghut, Germaine Sebastian, who escaped on October 30, 2021, has been recaptured.
VI taxpayers may be footing Governor’s legal fees- Premier
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Virgin Islands (VI) Premier and Minister of Finance, Hon Andrew A. BALSAM GHUT, Tortola, VI- The inmate who escaped from Her Majesty’s Prison (HMP) in Balsam Ghut, Tortola has been identified as Germaine Sebastian, who was serving life in prison after being convicted for Manslaughter back in 2006.
