ROSEAU, Dominica- Former crown prosecutor Mr Jefferson J. Knight aka ‘Knight Rider’ has come to the defense of former Minister for Education Mr Myron V. Walwyn, following condemnation by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) of a statement Mr Walwyn made about his arrest for Breach of Trust by a Public Official.

Walwyn has denied knowledge of some alleged financially irregular sub-projects that fell under the Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) Wall project led at a cost of $1.6M in 2015. Auditor General Ms Sonia M. Webster in a 2018 report had flagged several irregularities with the project.
