Unsecured vehicles & boats being targeted by thieves- RVIPF
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is receiving a number of reports of items being stolen from vehicles and vessels that are in need of repairs and are urging owners to secure items that may be prone to theft.

Commercial burglaries on the rise- RVIPF
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department are actively investigating a number of commercial burglaries in Road Town and Wickham’s Cay II area and are asking the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals responsible.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Electronics store I-Smart, now located in the building that formerly housed Varieties Apparel in Road Town, fell victim to burglary on Saturday April 21, 2018.
8 mths later: Not even 1 CCTV camera installed; Crime fighting a joke?
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Even before Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria in September of 2017 not even one of the CCTV cameras installed in Road Town was operational. Then came the two category 5 hurricanes that toppled the poles and smashed the cameras on Tortola and Virgin Gorda.

Gunshots reportedly heard in Road Town & East End last night
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Reports reaching our newsroom last night March 1, 2018 indicate that between 9:30 P.M. and 10:00 P.M. numerous rapid gunfire erupted around Road Town, the capital city; however, there have been no reports of injuries.
Gun & large quantity ammunition seized prior to homicide
THREAD FALLS, Tortola, VI - Officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force Armed Tactical Team seized a gun and a large quantity of ammunition at a road check in Thread Falls within an hour of the report of gunshots in the Brandywine Bay area late last night.
