ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The man, who reportedly died on Scrub Island sometime last night October 10, 2012 has been identified as Sheikh Abdul Aziz Alhamrani of Saudia Arabia.
Four burglaries reported on Main Street
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Police have recorded four burglaries within the last week on Main Street after no reported burglaries in this area for many months and want residents in the area to be on the lookout for anything suspicious.
Gunfire in Long Bush: no injuries
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Police Information Office reports that the RVIPF were last night (September 16, 2012) investigating reports of gunfire sometime around 22:30 (ten-thirty p.m.) in the Long Bush area. No persons are reported injured.
Shooting in Baugher's Bay- Police appeal for information
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Police Information Office reports that the RVIPF are investigating a shooting that occurred sometime around 22:00 (ten p.m.) last night in the Baugher’s Bay area.
Cannabis Plants Seized Following Tip-off
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- On Wednesday 12th September, at about 2pm, a joint operation between the RVIPF Task Force and the RVIPF CID Proactive unit seized 36 cannabis plants in various stages of maturity from the Hope Estate area; in addition, 200 seedlings and 10 plants about 2ft tall were seized from an area in Shepherd Hill.

UPDATE: Five on remand, two denied bail for money laundering & drug charges
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Five men who were allegedly caught laundering money in addition to being found with a substantial amount of cocaine, appeared before the Magistrates Court today, August 13, 2012. The session concluded with the men being remanded to prison until a next court hearing; two applications of bail were also denied by Magistrate Tamia Richards, who presided.
