Government working “diligently” to establish climate change fund
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Minister for Natural Resources and Labour, Hon. Dr Kedrick Pickering, has revealed that Government is now working diligently towards the establishment of a climate change fund.
VI to access "Climate Change Funds"
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - By adopting the policy on climate change implemented by a group of local Environmental Officers, the Virgin Islands (VI) is said to be the first in the Caribbean to adopt such a strategy which will then make available vast funds provided by the European Union (EU) that is limited only to countries who have in place a policy on climate change.
