W&SD owed in excess of $1.7M
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The paying of sewerage bills by customers has been a tardy exercise and has resulted in the Water and Sewerage Department (W&SD) being owed in excess of $1.7M. The department is currently taking stringent actions to have those monies collected.
UPDATE: No jobs will be lost in BVIEC & W&SD merger- Works Minister
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Workers attached to the British Virgin Islands Electricity Company (BVIEC) and the Water and Sewerage Department (W&SD) have been assured that there will be no loss of jobs when the government merges the two entities effective January 1, 2014.
