VI encouraged to buy more local produce
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- One of the strategies proposed to combat the rising cost of living and the Consumer Price Index in the Virgin Islands (VI) is for persons to buy more locally produced items.
More young people must get involved in Agriculture- Braithwaite
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - “When young people get involved then there is a future for Agriculture in the Virgin Islands”, was one of the messages of Chief Agricultural Officer Mr. Bevin Braithwaite at a small ceremony at the Breezeway, Central Administration Complex this morning October 17, 2011 to commemorate World Food Day which was observed yesterday under the theme “Food Prices- From Crisis to Stability”.
