UPDATE: Carey & Ashby cleared of robbery charges!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Royston Carey and Michael Ashby were on January 25, 2013 granted their freedom before the Magistrate’s Court after a robbery charge against the men was dismissed for want of prosecution. The men were previously on bail.
UPDATE: One suspect in custody in relation to Fort Hill bar robbery & shooting
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Officers of the Criminal Investigations Department have one man in custody for questioning in relation to a robbery on Fort Hill, which left one man with a gunshot wound to the leg on December 30, 2012.

James freed of Crystal Night club shooting charges
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI –David James, 24, is now a free man after having been relieved of all the charges against him. Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Wayne Rajbansie filed a notice of discontinuance before the Magistrate’s court when James appeared yesterday October 17, 2012.
Hon. Fahie filed lawsuit against NBVI to strengthen case- Sources
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- First District Representative Hon. Andrew A. Fahie, who was shot during a robbery at the National Bank of the Virgin Islands (NBVI) then known as Development Bank in August, 2007, was reportedly included in the civil case against the bank to add strength to the case of Ms. Petra Benjamin, who was also shot during the ordeal five years ago.
