VI ports Ebola watch on – Govt responds to residents’ concerns

UPDATE: VI Govt. gives ‘all clear’ on Hurricane Gonzalo
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – As Gonzalo veers north avoiding the Virgin Islands, the hurricane warning for the Territory has been discontinued and a tropical storm warning is now in effect, say personnel from the Department of Disaster Management (DDM), who also confirmed that normal services are resuming throughout the Territory.
‘DDM too dependent on external funding’ – 2013 report

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Department of Disaster Management (DDM) has announced that the Flash Flood Watch for the Virgin Islands has been upgraded to a Flash Flood Warning which will remain in effect up to 8:00 pm this evening August 22, 2014.
No reports of injury or damage from last night's 4.46 earthquake – DDM
