UPDATE: Premier Fahie calls for vigilance ahead of Tropical Cyclone
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- With the possibility that the Virgin Islands could feel some effects of a passing tropical cyclone, Premier and Minister of Finance, Hon Andrew A. Fahie (R1) has urged the people of the Virgin Islands to be in a state of preparedness in the event of further development.
VI urged to prepare as hurricane season heats up
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Department of Disaster Management (DDM)’s Acting Director Mr Jasen Penn is urging all Virgin Islands residents to complete their seasonal preparedness activities as the region moves into the peak of the Atlantic Hurricane Season with two potential systems brewing in the Atlantic basin.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Virgins Islands Department of Disaster Management (DDM) is currently monitoring Tropical Wave 3 which is the closest Tropical Wave to the [British] Virgin Islands and located over the west-central tropical Atlantic at an estimate of 824 miles off Road Town.
