ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The newly elected Deputy Premier of the Virgin Islands Dr. Kedrick Pickering has come in for high praise from members of the Virgin Islands Party with one member seeing him as a future Premier of the Territory.
VIP - a formidable opposition?

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The official report indicates that in district 7, the incumbent representative of the National Democratic Party (NDP) Dr. Kedrick Pickering won the district with 535 votes, Delores Christopher in the 5th District, Mark Vanterpool in the 4th District, Alvera Maduro-Caines in the 6th District. Marlon Penn has been unofficially declared the winner in the 8th District.
VIP motorcade rolls on "PPA nerves"
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- With the various jingles blasting from the sound systems and horns honking and flags waving, the ruling Virgin Islands Party (VIP) yesterday November 5, 2011 held a massive motorcade that stretched for many lengths. But if there was anyone that was not impressed it was the People’s Patriotic Alliance (PPA), along with its supporters that had converged at the Sunday Morning Well for a rally.
