Farley & Lindsay crowned 2024 National Road Race 10K Champions

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Julius Farley and Katrina Lindsay were crowned National Road Race 10K Champions on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

The two champs won the Half Marathon Warmup 10k, which was also a standalone race for the National Championship 10k.
Farley blazed to victory in 39:01.6, beating his arch-rival Jermaine A. Ricketts, who finished close behind in 40:53.9.

Third was James Ramprashad in 47.55.7.

Lindsay continues dominance

Meanwhile, Lindsay continued her dominance on the road racing scene, clocking 42.27.9 to win the ladies race.

Veteran road racer Rosmond Johnson ran a solid race to finish second in 43:42.1.

Third was the never ageing Kay Reddy in 1:02.43.

The race took runners from the Mondo Track at A.O. Shirley Recreation Ground, to Delta Gas Station in Pasea then back to Bobby's Roundabout. Runners then proceeded to Duff's Bottom before turning around just past the entrance to Island Department Store to return to A.O. Shirley Recreation Ground.

Road runners will now set their sights on the BVI Half Marathon set for November 16, 2024.
