ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Elmore Stoutt High School’s Inter House Volleyball Competition continued apace on Wednesday December 4, 2013 with House 4 recording two wins, but being pushed to 3 sets in each game at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex.

The first round of games concluded for the Boys as House 2 defeated House 3 in straight sets, House 3 - set 1 -27-25, set 2 - 25-16. The top players for House 2 were Tyler Jackson, Caldon Morton and Dimante Gumbs. The top players for House 3 were Franklyn Penn Jnr. Marlon Burke and Oscar Herrara.

The second game saw House 4 defeat House 1 in 3 sets 25-13, 22-25 and 15-12. The top players for House 4 were Lestin Wiltshire, Jamal Freeman and Kevaugn Watson, For House 1 were D’Jimon Gumbs, Murtland Gordon, and Tahj Charles.

In the second round of games, House 4 defeated House 2 in 3 sets, 24-26, 25-14, 15-11, with the top players named as Wiltshire, Relando Rogers, Freeman and Nixon Hamilton. For House 2 they were Jackson, Morton, Deron Noel and Diamante Gumbs.

In the final game of the day, House 3 defeated House 1 in 3 sets, 25-16, 27-29, and 15-9. The top players for House 3 were Jacoy Walwyn, Burke, and Penn Jnr. For House 1, they were Ofari Challenger, Shadim Rubaine and Deangelo Desmoulin.

On Monday November 25, 2013 House 4 forfeited to House 1, House 3 defeated House 2 in straight sets 25-21 and 25-22, House 4 forfeited to House 2, House 1 defeated House 3 in three great sets 25-19, 25-27 and final set 15-13. The outstanding players for House 1 - Dijmon Gumbs, Malachy Payne and Tahj Charles and for House 2 -Tyler Jackson and Diamante Gumbs, whilst for House 3 they were Eilan Frazer and Kemoi Walters.

In the Girls Tournament played on Wednesday November 27, 2013,  House 2 defeated House 3- 25-19,25-23 , House 1 defeated House 4- 25-23,25-21,  House 2 defeated House 4 25-21,25-12 and  House 1 defeated House 3 25-19,27-25. The House 1 outstanding players were Javlyn Frett, Mia Walwyn and Arianna Hayde, House 2- Jennifer Smith, Yanelis Rodriquez , House 3 - Bianca Brewley and Anne Lee Ortiz O'Neal and House 4- Annecha Graham, Donniesha George, and Kieyanna Smith.

All the remaining games are slated to be played on Monday December 9, 2013.

Jnr. Boys: House 1 vs House 2, House 3 vs House 4; Girls: House 1 vs House 2  and House 3 vs House 4; Sr. Boys:  House 4 vs House 3 and House 1 vs House 2 .

However, the organizers are still awaiting approval from the Ministry of Education to play those games on December 10 in the afternoon and have the whole school come over and watch.

    Djimon you are jumping high. That is good for you! Go to all the houses. My only problem is that these students are out there too late playing volleyball. Do something about it!!
