Ex-President Obama Kitesurfing in BVI waters; Watch video
The popular first couple stayed on the exclusive private Moskito Island owned by BVIslander Billionaire Sir Richard C. N. Branson from January 23, 2017 to February 2, 2017.
While in the BVI the former President spent a day Kitesurfing with his host Mr Branson in the BVI waters. The YouTube video released today February 7, 2017 by Mr Branson's Group of Companies saw a friendly Kitesurfing competition with the competitive Messers Obama and Branson.
BVI in the spotlight again; This time positive
The YouTube video has blown up on social network. It shows the two men in some dare-devil activities and many regional and international news organisations have played it all day, further promoting the waters of the BVI and the continued public fascination with the Obamas.
Before the former President and wife Michelle departed on February 2, 2017 from the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport, on Beef Island, for Washington D.C., a story first broken by our newsroom, the couple had a photo opportunity with the unelected Governor John S. Duncan OBE and his wife Mrs Duncan and the Premier Dr The Honourable D. Orlando Smith (AL) and his wife Lorna G. Smith OBE.

Obama is trying to cover his ears so that he can't hear what Branson is saying.
