Ex Adventist ‘Cindy’ Rosan believes ‘everybody should just follow their path’
About Rosemary Lucinda Rosan aka ‘Cindy’
Among the things about Rosan revealed in the interview by Keiyia Jackson-George was that her full name is Rosemary Lucinda Rosan and that she prefers to be called ‘Cindy’ because she doesn’t appreciate how persons in the territory pronounce ‘Rosemary’.
Rosan disclosed that she doesn’t own a pair of sneakers and, therefore, does not own a pair of socks. She also said she always liked to dress up and “look” pretty but she doesn’t do that much now because she has other responsibilities.
Rosan says she grew up an Adventist but…
It was also disclosed on the show that the Cut Deep host is not a “practising Adventist”, even though she grew up as a Seventh-day Adventist and even pierced her ears about three years ago on her birthday but allowed them to be “blocked up” because it was “really a waste of time”.
Asked why she left the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Rosan said things weren’t making sense for her.
“I just feel that as you grow and you expose yourself to certain things, you learn certain things, your brain starts ticking for yourself, you try to connect dots and dots aren’t connecting and so you just decide what works best for you, what makes sense to you and the direction you want to go in…I just feel like there is something that is not connecting for me, and that is not like Adventism.”
‘People judge you heavily about religion’- Rosan
The talk show host turned interviewee, said she doesn’t like to have the conversation about her religious beliefs and why she left the church because people “judge you heavily about religion and how you feel about it.”
Rosan said she is still trying to figure out and manoeuvre what makes sense for her and right now she is just deciding personally what works.
Host George then said said she was a little confused because she was of the impression “Cindy Rosan” could care less about what people thought about her or her religious beliefs.
‘I believe everybody should just follow their path’- Rosan
Rosan said she has to care because she is not always trying to offend others.
“I don’t want people to create a conversation around whether I believe in God or don’t believe in God. I believe everybody should just follow their path, so I just stay away from it.
Rosan also said she wished that people would more focus on the message of her platform, “which is about the BVI and what’s best for us”.
Meanwhile, the new season of Cut Deep, with episodes every Tuesday at 8:00 PM, promises to go ‘deeper than ever’.

With God. It is the people who makes it miserable and judgmental not the principles of the church .
For one thing, many do not take their religion seriously. To them, Christianity is just a casual thing, not a dominant force in their lives. Moreover, those who do take their religion seriously subscribe to many contradictory beliefs and even to differing moral standards. And they are divided by national, racial, and economic differences. In addition, they have victimized one another, even persecuting, waging war with, and killing one another. Thus, the two greatest wars in history were basically fought between “Christian” nations.
What conclusion can we draw from this? That either Christianity is not the true religion or there is a big difference between merely claiming to be a Christian and actually being one. According to Jesus Christ, the founder of Christianity, the second conclusion is the correct one. On one occasion, he spoke about some who would address him as “Lord, Lord.” In other words, they would claim to be Christians, accepting Jesus as their Lord. And they would be very busy doing seemingly important works in his name. Yet Jesus would say to them: “I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness.”—Matthew 7:22, 23.
Surely, none of us want to be in that situation! So how can we determine whether we are real Christians or not? Is there a key to the true religion?
Firstly, the scripture is not up to debate nor our 'feelings', logic, education or common sense. Remember the Bible says that the wisdom of man is foolishness to God. It does not have to make sense to us because we have a little education.
Secondly, we do not follow our own path nor the path of any religion. The only religion that Christ has commanded us to be is Holy. He said "Be ye holy, as I am holy." We follow after God and seek his kingdom and everything else will be added unto us.
Wishing everybody peace
I now find it impossible to hold a conversation with them without being quoted passages from the bible, along with a desire to redeem me.
I 've always considered rum and religion to be the downfall of West Indians, with religion being the worst addiction of the two.
