the tourist trade money coming into the BVI, is swept under the rug, denied, not answered to, and so on. Of course
by BVI personell, but also by well placed people in the US and UK to make sure national or international news does not run a story, conservative or liberal media organizations. If certain BVI insiders have hurt someone or stolen their property they brought with them when they actually MOVED to the BVI - well we can't have that going around.
Bad for business. Fortunately for the BVI gliteratti, they have friends in high places in London and Washington and
a few billionaire agents as managers nearby. Of course the risk of retaliation by those who were victimized, is not discussed. But if that did happen, the BVI could still be saleable even if it is glowing green. I gave you a lot of green when I lived there. I will give you more.
BVI was the ONLY pier park to keep charging rent through lockdown and beyond...driving out the smaller operators to be replaced by the same jewelry stores who can afford to ride out the rent and the slow summer months.
Pier park is now a boring place for passengers to walk around..its just another place they have to go through to get to the taxi rank..
go there when no ships in you can cou t on one hand how many other tourists go in. only thing bring locals n are the food shops and coffee.
such a let down
What about our sailing capital of the world. Maintenance, captains, chefs, office staff.
Are we really that dull!!
Focus on improving air-travel into the territory especially from the european market
Stop the regular Talk and improve the runway and airport building
The current Administration needs to focus more; refrain from using the tax payers funds on entertainment
Shelling out our money to the Various Artists from outside, while the place needs fixing
Fix the place for all of us them spend a few dollars on the entertainment
Not all of we into fun & games: running our land is a very serious thing
