Summer Sizzle BVI will take place from July 20 to July 23, 2017.

The actress, TV host, and fashion model, Eva Marcille, is best known for her role as Tyra Hamilton on the soap opera The Young and the Restless and has appeared on the cover of numerous magazines and guest-starred on several series on UPN and The CW Network including Kevin Hill, Smallville, Everybody Hates Chris and The Game.

Her other modeling credits include CoverGirl, DKNY, Samsung, Elle, Elle Girl, Rolling Out, Red by Marc Ecko, Jewel magazine, In Touch Weekly magazine, Star Magazine.

Marcille was nominated for two NAACP Image Awards in 2009 for Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series for her role in The Young & the Restless.

It is also currently being reported that Eva Marcille is set to join the cast of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta'.

'Super excited'

“I’m super excited to be attending and hosting such a fabulous event in the British Virgin Islands!” said Marcille in expressing sheer excitement at being part of the 2017 edition of Summer Sizzle BVI, the Caribbean’s premier fashion event.

Similar excitement was shared by Founder and CEO of Summer Sizzle BVI, Terry T. Donovan in a press release today, July 6, 2017.

“We are excited to have Eva serve as the host of this year’s event,” said Mr Donovan.

“Eva is a talented and shining star and will bring a lot of pizzazz to the event”.

Previous celebrities to host Summer Sizzle BVI include Taraji P. Henson and Nigel Barker.

Mr Donovan recently announced too that Jessica Jarrell, an American R&B/Pop artist and actress with her newest hit single, ‘How Was I’, will give an exclusive performance at Summer Sizzle BVI 2017.

Jarrell has opened for some of the world’s biggest stars such as Justin Bieber and Cody Simpson.

Summer Sizzle BVI 2017 is in its ninth year of production and will feature activities starting from July 20 and ending on July 23, 2017.

This year’s event will feature performances from Jessica Jarrell, R&B/Pop Artist who will perform her single “How was I” and two distinct fashion shows – BVI Swim Runway Show on July 21 and Global Glamour Runway Show on July 22, 2017 at the Multi-Purpose Complex on Tortola.
