PORT PURCELL, Tortola, VI – The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) advises residents and visitors of upcoming multiple ship days that will bring an increased number of cruise passengers to the territory.

This is a collaborative effort between key public and private tourism stakeholders, working together to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all. With an expected influx of visitors, businesses and residents are encouraged to embrace their role in making our guests feel welcome, ensuring their safety and overall satisfaction.

Upcoming Multiple Ship Days:
January 23 – NCL Encore, AidaLuna, Celebrity Eclipse, Iona (overnighting)
January 24 – Iona and Arvia
February 8 – Costa Fascinosa, NCL Breakaway, Marella Voyager
March 5 – NCL Epic and Arvia

What to Expect:
• Increased activity in key areas such as the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park, beaches, Road Town, and the sister islands.
• Friendly and knowledgeable ambassadors will be on hand to provide assistance and information.
• Businesses are encouraged to enhance customer service and maintain high safety standards.
• Vendors are reminded to be professional and courteous to help create an unforgettable visitor experience.
• The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force will be vigilant and visible, closely monitoring high-traffic areas to ensure safety and security at the various locations.
• Residents are encouraged to showcase the signature hospitality of the VI, as every interaction contributes to our thriving tourism industry.
