MEYERS ESTATE, Tortola, VI- Enis Adams Primary School students can find play at school a lot more fun, thanks to a new playground.

The school in Meyers Estate on Tortola is the last of five primary schools in the Territory to receive a playground through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of the Virgin Islands and Unite BVI.

At the handover ceremony, remarks were given by Minister for Education, Youth Affairs and Sports, Honourable Sharie B. de Castro (AL); Executive Director of Unite BVI, Dr L. Sauda Smith and Representative for the Second District, Honourable Melvin M. Turnbull.

The other schools that have received a new playground via the MoU are Willard Wheatley Primary School, Alexandrina Maduro Primary School, the Joyce Samuel Primary School and Ebenezer Thomas Primary School.

    Step aside Sharie, where is our photo op Premier. I prefer his face. Not smiling with anyone who giving they boyfriend, sister and mother my tax money and think the public will forget about it. People go to jail for these kinds of things and are even required to resign. I never hear the Premier name call in this scandal yet.

    As I commented on a related post; for children between the ages of five and ten, I would have thought that creative play would be the objective.

    The playground equipment appears more suited for pre-school, rather than primary school children.

      100% correct. The education minister is still busy re-imagining, somewhere up in some clouds or on Mars. You have vision. The one being paid by the public purse DOES NOT. What a sad story for the BVI.

      There is a kindergarten at the school
