SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- The Ebenezer Thomas Primary School brought in the new academic year and its 50th anniversary with all things new as the school unveiled a new mascot, motto and school houses.

New Mascot

Paying homage to the horse racing tradition in Sea Cows Bay and the school’s legacy of resilience and student collaboration, Ebenezer Thomas’ new mascot is the Thoroughbred Horse.

New Motto

The new motto by which Ebenezer Thomas Primary will operate is ‘Charged For Excellence’, while the theme for this year is ‘Staying Charged’.

Through the new motto, the school’s commitment to academic success entwined with instilling its students with core values shines.

3 new houses

The three new houses also pay homage to Sea Cows Bay horse racing tradition as they are each named after horse breeds.

Fret Mustangs is the name of the new blue house while Forbes Arabians is the name of the new green house and Brathwaite Appaloosas is the new red house.

Ebenezer Thomas Primary has a number of activities and events on its calendar as celebrations continue.
