Ebenezer Thomas Primary receives new playground
Construction of a new playground in the school’s compound started on Monday, April 22, 2024, where Unite BVI has committed to building a series of playgrounds in about five schools throughout Tortola.
Minister for Education, Youth Affairs and Sports Hon Sharie B. de Castro (AL), Executive Director of Unite BVI Dr. Sauda Smith and Representative for the Third District Honourable Julian Fraser RA (R3) addressed the handing over ceremony held at the school.
Following the ceremony, the facility was officially handed over to the primary school.
United BVI has previously handed over a playground at the Willard Wheatley Primary School in East End, Alexandrina Maduro Primary School and the Joyce Samuel Primary school.

The playground equipment appears more suited for pre-school, rather than primary school children.
