Drew Farrell charged for fatal stabbing of Rasheel T. Alexander on VG


Alexander, who was reportedly stabbed in the region of the neck, was transported to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) announced today, March 25, 2025, that Drew Farrell of Valley, Virgin Gorda, has been formally charged with Manslaughter in connection with this incident.
The RVIPF said Farell remains in custody pending his appearance before the Magistrate’s Court.
The RVIPF continues to urge members of the public to report any information that may assist this or any other investigation by contacting the RVIPF Intelligence Unit at 368-9339, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 800-8477 or from overseas at (284) 800-8477.

His options were severely limited; the only apparent alternative might have been to leap from the pier, potentially risking drowning if he lacked swimming skills.
