LONG LOOK, Tortola, VI – With the aim of promoting businesses in his constituency, Representative for the Seventh District and Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture, Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley, MHA, is launching the ‘Spotlight on Businesses’ in the Seventh District at 6:00pm today, July 23, 2020.

According to a press release on July 22, 2020, Spotlight on Businesses in the Seventh District is a social media show highlighting various businesses and their owners.

It said a new show will broadcast every Wednesday at 6:00pm on the 7th District Facebook Page - www.facebook.com/groups/District7United.

Honourable Wheatley had referred to the show at his district meeting at The Stickett in Long Look last Thursday, July 16, 2020, when he said the programme will help with the advertising of businesses.

‘Strong legacy of entrepreneurship’

According to the press release, in the intro video, Honourable Wheatley says on camera, “In the 7th District, we have a strong legacy of entrepreneurship. We encourage members of the 7th District community to support our businesses, and to start new businesses.”

Some of the businesses already featured on the new show are FUZE VI, Fabulous Findz, Jennings Fashion, and Naturally Tasty.

    thank you mr wheatley tou are doing great nothing like this has not been done in the seventhdistrict for the past years do youf best for the people of the seventh district we were suffering for the years that the ndp was in power

    this is an excellent idea Dr. Hon Wheatley. I agree with Blackbeaury in saying other districts should follow suit. I would like to mention also that the development of that East End harbour and Waterfront land into a Commercial Center will give Districts 7 and 8 specifically, and the wider BVI in general, a great and much needed economic boost. in fact, the whole area needs a much deserved upgrade in infrastructure as this is among the first things seen by tourists landing via Beef Island. let's get it done!

Wheatley I applaud you.this is new and fresh..please clean up long look;Parts of it always had the appearance of a slum..still can’t see what our former Minister did for the district/NDP as a whole for our country.. keep pressing on for your district.. good luck in all your endeavors.. Always pray and seek God’s Guidance as you go forward..

    @ndp..It’s always good to dream!..what did he really do..talk is cheap.. a lot of Long Look remained looking like a slum while he was out enjoying life with his rich friends..be thankful we still have “any“ land to live on...A great idea Annuda2cents..Hon. Wheatley you should take note..
