DPP Kim Hollis QC abruptly resigns
Hollis reportedly submitted her resignation letter last week.
Her final day on the job is December 13, 2019, according to sources.
Ms Hollis was appointed DPP effective August 29, 2016, by former Governor Mr John S. Duncan, OBE.
This news site had first and accurately reported that Hollis and then Senior Crown Counsel Valston M. Graham had emerged as the final two applicants to be considered for the post vacated by Trinidad national Wayne L. Rajbansie.
Mr Graham then went on to become the DPP in St Kitts and Nevis.
Ms Hollis had come under criticism earlier this year for the excessive wait for prisoners on remand.
She had blamed the courts and the backlog of cases owing to the lack of magistrates following the hurricanes of 2017.

The AG failed to appreciate that her de**** has been undermining her at every opportunity - I am worried that the de***** thinks she is competent to do the job herself. Watch for more resignations from the AGs dept if the de***** gets the job.
She doesn't win because 1)magistrates are rude and entitled
2)DPP locals are still pining after Valston and undermine her at every turn 3)jury list is padded with miscreants chosen by a corrupt Registrar......and the list goes on and on.
So Mrs Hollis didn't gave a chance with those factors against her.
You are so right. Corrupt, bias and prejudice R****** of the Supreme Court who thinks she is too big to be spoken to. She needs to go as well.
Let's see.

Yes she will. She had integrity and a good heart. It’s a pity the likes of if F****** could not grow and take the opportunity to learn from her instead of undermine her at every turn.
WAS SHE JUST ANOTHER UPPITY EXPAT WHO BELIEVED NATIVES WERE HER INFERIORS?
