ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Division E Toastmasters in the Caribbean have welcomed a new Division Director, Camille T. Merry (BVI), and her team for the 2024-2025 Toastmasters term.

Supporting the Division E Director in her role are key appointed leaders: Immediate Past Division Director Yvonne Thomas (BVI), Assistant Division Director Program Quality Diannille Taylor-Williams (St. Kitts), Assistant Division Director Club Growth Joshua Edwards (BVI), Public Relations Manager Sharie-Ann M. Stapleton (BVI), Administrative Manager Chenette James (St. Kitts), and Logistics Manager Christine Stapleton (BVI).

Camille acknowledged Past Division E Director 2023-2024, Yvonne Thomas, on the commendable achievements and President’s Distinguished status attained at Toastmasters International level. Building upon the previous year's successes, Camille in the capacity of Division E Director will oversee and support the Division, working closely with the three (3) appointed Area Directors: Simera Durante (BV)) for Area 25, Linda Adhu (Antigua) for Area 26, and Kedimone Rubaine (BVI) for Area 27.

She highlighted her primary objectives this coming year as ensuring the thirteen (13) Clubs within the Division are effectively fulfilling their mission through consistently delivering quality club meetings, workshops and activities, and that club officers are equipped and trained to lead and support members as they pursue their various pathways and interests within the organisation.

Camille believes these elements are crucial for maintaining member engagement and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Camille hopes to inspire Division E Toastmasters to rise to the challenge, exploring the many opportunities for networking, learning and growth that are available to them.

Division E Toastmasters portfolio falls under District 81 - Caribbean Toastmasters and includes thirteen (13) clubs in locations such as Antigua & Barbuda, Anguilla, Montserrat, St. Kitts, the British Virgin Islands and United States Virgin Islands.

The clubs are grouped into three (3) Areas (Areas 25, 26 and 27) and the Division has approximately 220 members.
