The annual awards ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of Digicel staff from 32 markets across the globe. Digicel BVI topped the Caribbean and Central America markets category based on its performance over the last 12 months – beating 24 other larger markets such as Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.

Digicel BVI CEO, Mr. Declan Cassidy commented, “Winning the Market of the Year award for Digicel BVI is an incredible achievement and is the culmination of the great dedication, commitment and hard work of every one of our staff members over the last five years.”

The Market of the Year award comes hot on the heels of Digicel BVI’s recent Business Excellence Award for Business Solutions. Digicel BVI Head of Business Services and ICT, Matthew Drum, won this award thanks to his tenacity and demonstration of sound knowledge and extensive experience in ICT solutions. As a result, Matthew successfully grew the ICT business over the last 12 months – introducing a wide range of products and services to customers.

Digicel BVI’s award sets the stage for the company’s plans to further expand on its services across the territory, delivering on its promise of best value, service and network while it continues to put its customers at the heart of everything it does.
