On Friday October 16, 2015 Five Star Promotion staged a promotional competition titled 'Jealous OVA' where three young ladies from the VI did their best to be selected for the Tifa role with Seven/Eleven Dexta Daps on a local stage.

The three were Ashley R. A. Miller, Helina A. Hewlett and Alysha R. S. Lewis aka Harmony. "First of all I want to thank all the contestants, all the beautiful young ladies that entered the Jealous Ova contest, Tortola I am coming soon," said Daps in a recorded announcement shared with this news site last evening October 26, 2015.

Daps said he found Lewis to be the most fitting of the three as she has the full package."The reason why I picked Harmony (Lewis) is because she has the full package, the style, the attitude and everything. Congrats ‎to you Harmony and I am coming over."

The initial plan is for Ms Lewis to do only the single with Daps but, according to Five Star Promotion, she may very well get a chance at a bigger opportunity with the international artiste.

Jealous OVA is one of Dexta Daps’s singles which he did with recording artiste Tifa from Jamaica. The emerging artiste would be live in concert on October 31, 2015 at Myett’s Beach Front for the Halloween Show without Tifa, the reason Daps had asked for the competition to have a replacement female singer, explained member of Five Star Promotion, Ms Akiema D. Brookes.

It was not the famous ‘The Voice’ or the popular ‘America’s Got Talent’, however, according to Five Star Promotion, the opportunity that will be given to Ms Lewis can be considered a good “break” for the young singer.

According to Ms Brookes, Lewis will be the first local artiste given the opportunity to officially perform with an international recording artiste at such a level.

“I think it was a great initiative… in fact we put the idea to him and he thought it was a brilliant idea because we expressed to him that over years and years we have all these international artistes coming here to the BVI to perform and it would be nice for some of our local talent to get some exposure with some of the artistes.”

The concert this Saturday will also feature locals such as NJAR and Figga.
