In fact our Westminster Model of Government remains an accepted corrupt Political System where Ministers retain Power after Parliament is dissolved so they can collect Salaries while campaigning at Tax Payers’ expense and having the unfair advantage of being able to call Snap Elections at whim and tailoring timetables to suit themselves… In this way they stack the Decks in their favour.

They ignore the fact that Representatives are elected for specific terms or time periods and they join in affecting these by two types of Snap Elections –Type #1: where both Government and Opposition are removed because of Internal Problems and Type #2: where Government fires all other Representatives including Leader of the Opposition but excluding all Government Ministers.

However, this is the 21^st Century and it is wrong to unreasonably fire the People’s Representatives before they fulfill their contract and while the Leader of the Opposition may have fired persons from Ministerial Posts he fired no one from representing their People – This not only insults him and other Politicians but disenfranchises Citizens including Youths who would be eligible to vote next year.

In arguing their excuse that such actions are legal is to overlook that Slavery and Jim Crow Laws were also deemed legal but were all based on inhumane Evil and Wickedness… Similarly, Snap Elections called by Governments to benefit themselves are no more than legalised Corruption and those condoning perpetuation of this practice are no more than sponsors of corrupt Governments.

Where are the Warriors for the People?

Unfortunately, Personal Ambition and Greed prevent us from trying to right these wrongs so we make excuses and allow Bad Leadership to go on at our own detriment…. Subsequently, we are given 30-Days to deny ourselves, abandon our senses and give legitimacy to a malicious Snap Election that has nothing to do with Fairness or Justice and is certainly not in the People’s Best Interest.

What makes this more troubling is when Candidates – new and old – are more focused on their own Personal Financial Interests; seeking Revenge or Employment and there are no other voices but yours and mine that lead the fight to keep our People owners of their Lands, protect them from NHIS, make Health Care affordable, Educate our Youth and keep Children out of Prisons and Graveyards.

Even Voters tend to see all Politicians as identical and Governments find it difficult to fear Rivals who appear no different from them and overtly and covertly promoted the same Bad Practices and Policies that hurt our People… The result is a Snap Election that is set to condemn a desperate People to more Hardship as Candidates arguments focus on spreading Hate rather than Hope.

Leaders love this atmosphere because they know their present wrongs and planned wrongs can only be achieved with Political Candidates and Conditions that care nothing about the suffering of the People… Their dream is for a Dynasty based on Evil, Greed and Corruption and their real fear is not of each other but of You the People – Therefore their objective is to silence ‘Voices of the People’.

Leaders know they plan to do wrong:

The Minister for Health acknowledged this when he pointed out that the unaffordability of NHIS Taxes was so real they planned to trick the People by imposing these Charges in January when your Income Taxes appear lowest – Does this mean when Taxes increase in April that NHIS will be discontinued?... Also is NHIS Tax a percentage of one’s Total Salary or is there a ceiling?

Leaders know that Candidates are not interested in your struggles so they simply set about getting all their Ducks in a row and then teasing and provoking Rivals into emotional thoughtless responses that would provide legitimate excuses for them to Rule and Dictate… I too was one likely to fall into their trap by rushing into Battle on behalf of our People but this would have been a grave mistake.

Because, while I sincerely thank supporters this is not simply about winning or losing Elections but a willful trap designed to have us participate in their Schemes, under their Terms to ensure their Results… Road Works, Fireworks, Giant Posters, Pep Rallies and Short Notice are designed to blind many to Dictatorship and make the time impossible for others to get out Messages and Manifestos.

You see, Leaders see us as a People already conditioned to accept wrong as right and ever willing to support and justify Governments based on and for Personal Greed… In this way, once we perform as expected, we effectively sanction their actions, become their willing accomplices, silence ourselves and instead of being active sources of Solutions we become our own worst Problems.

Boycott as the only Chance for a People to win:

Of course Political Gamblers and Persons with hidden Agendas will argue that they can beat the System no matter how much it is rigged…  I am no Gambler and while I have no fear of standing against all odds for my People we have been willfully thrust into a rigged Election that is carefully designed to manipulate BV-Islanders into providing Leaders and Conditions for their own destruction.

We have never encountered such a situation before so I have tried to listen, research and give deep thought realising that we are in trouble and drastic times require drastic measures – However, this marked Deck of Cards is stacked too deep to allow fair results and even Kenny Rogers said, ‘we have to know when to hold them, know when to fold them, know when walk to away and know when to run’.

There is no easy solution to this challenging Problem… Some may find it difficult to admit that those trying to slay Dragons in their own Dens could easily become casualties, lose their self-respect and be silenced forever whereas choosing to reassess the Battle and plan accordingly could increase our effectiveness and credibility as Voices of reason for a People in their time of need.

Yes, we should all be Concerned Citizens and although it saddens me - until and unless conditions change in this Snap Election - I have fully decided to Boycott the Process in the greater interest of our Sons and Daughters… Meanwhile, I will continue fighting for Rights and against Wrongs imposed on our Youth from any and every Source for this is the only way for our People and our Country to win.
