David Lim defends BVI Half Marathon title; 6th win for Katrina Lindsay
Lim won the 19th Deloitte/Ogier BVI Half Marathon with a time of 1:26:26.52.
Finishing nearly two minutes later was Julus Farley in 1:28:13.84. Farley continues to get the better of Ricketts in the longer distances. Ricketts finished third in 1:32:30.21.
6th BVI Half Marathon title for Katrina Lindsay
Katrina Lindsay won her 6th BVI Half Marathon title, destroying the women’s field in the process. Her time of 1:37:39.12 placed her 4th overall.
A distant second in a time of 2:04:12.90 was Sarah Latham while third was Dianeth Lepel in 2:08:13.83.
The 21KM race took runners along the beautiful Sir Francis Drake Channel from the Capital City, Road Town to the scenic Smugglers Cove Beach.
Cash prizes were awarded to the top 5 males and females in the 21km, race walking, team and oldest entrant.
