ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The game of the night that saw a huge turnout was the last game of last evening September 27, 2014 between the high flying Da 3rd coached by Roy A. Garraway with big time draft pick Ray D. Victor and the veteran team Avengers coached by Rajah A. Smith with draft pick Travis A. Isaac.

Da 3rd put away Avengers 82 to 78 in a very close but competitive game that had the crowd on its feet all night, as the Hon Julian Fraser Save the Seed National Basketball League tournament continued at the Save the Seed Energy Centre in Duff’s Bottom.

Despite the big win for Da 3rd, during the fourth quarter of the game an internal argument started between a player Rushawn A. Johnson with the team Coach Garraway, which saw some heated exchanges over playing strategies causing the Coach Garraway to walk off the bench in frustration despite the fact that the team was ahead.

Johnson is said to be the team manager and did not play last night.

It remains unclear what started the heated exchange between the manager of Da 3rd Mr. Johnson and coach Garraway. Mr. Garraway is expected to return to the team as its head coach.
