VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- People have been expressing gratitude for many things, going into 2025. For Ninth District Representative Hon Vincent O. Wheatley, one of the things he is grateful for is necessary road works completed on Virgin Gorda.

“As we end 2024 and look forward to many great things for 2025, I just want to thank Minister Rymer and his entire team, Ministry and PWD, for all the work that was completed on VG and the upcoming works for Anegada,” Hon Wheatley stated on his Facebook page on January 1, 2025.

The District Representative, who is also the Minister for Health and Social Development, said he was “truly appreciative” for the road words, as some were “long outstanding”.

The Government of the Virgin Islands has made road works one of its top priorities.

Several road works are continuing on Tortola, with more to come.

He continues to accomplish things quietly without fanfare but the haters still hate. The VG people much smarter than the Tola haters and can see the truth.

I live on the island and I am wondering what roads the Honorable paved in VG when the roads in NS are the worse in the territory. There are several guts in the road from Holiness Church to Gun Creek dock. Hon Vincent I beg you please stop tell lies
