Current Premier Wheatley wants to be like Ex-Premier Fahie– Dameon Percival
“I keep telling y'all the current premier wants to be like the former premier and he learned well,” Percival said on the Monday, July 10, 2023, edition of ‘Da Morning Braff’ radio show with host Floyd Burnett aka "Heritage'.
HoA Q&A now last thing on Order Paper - Percival
“So what they are doing in the House constantly, you know, especially since he's thinking Premiership, is they're putting the Question and Answer segment to the end of the sitting and what we're finding is they're using every opportunity in the book to delay the sitting of the House,” Percival claimed.
Mr Percival added that the government legislators avoided sittings to even attend a recent graduation ceremony where they were not even on the programme.
Percival said at the graduation, legislators gave speeches ‘to tell people to remember who get you here,” he told the listening audience.
Opposition at fault too - Percival
He added that at other times, government legislators are traveling all over the world and doing everything they can to not do the work of the people.
Percival blamed the Opposition for what is happening in the House which he also labeled as ‘pussy footing’ around the Question and Answer segment, “When you look at the list of questions, these are important questions that would reveal important information to the people of this territory.”
Percival also slammed speaker Corine N. George-Massicote for what he said was allowing Premier Dr the Hon Wheatley to control the House.
