Scores of persons turn out to 1949 Great March re-enactment
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Scores of Virgin Islanders (VI) and others in the VI community on Sunday, November 21, 2021, turned out to re-enact the historic 1949 Great March in the Virgin Islands, on the eve of the new 1949 Great Match and Restoration Day holiday to be celebrated for the first time on Monday, November 22, 2021.
