9th District to test backup communication systems during partial VI shut down
VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- As the Territory has taken the decision to partly close its borders, reduce traffic to the Territory, temporarily close schools and limit mass gatherings and movements, the Ninth District has seen it as a ripe opportunity to test its redundant communication system, which was put in place in the event the central communication system fails, as was the case following the hurricanes of September 2017.

Controversy as Davies family blocks off reclaimed land @ Red Bay
RED BAY, Tortola, VI- A number of persons have been complaining to this news site, as well as to the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Eighth District Representative about a portion of reclaimed land at Red Bay, East End, close to Alphonso Gas Station, being blocked off with rocks and chains and preventing persons from using the said space.
