‘Cindy’ reportedly sues ‘Herritage’ & Tola Radio for slander

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Cut Deep talk show host Rosemary Cindy Rosan has reportedly moved to the High Court with a slander lawsuit against Da International Morning Braff host Floyd Burnett aka ‘Heritage’ and Tola Radio over a controversy relating to the Virgin Islands Festival and Fairs Committee (VIF&FC) and the media budget earmarked to Tola Radio.

Rosan, in an extensive Facebook post today, Wednesday, July 27, 2022, said she was at serious odds with Mr Burnett and the Tola Radio show’s Da International Morning Braff, and that Burnett was served with a notice of the lawsuit by a High Court Bailiff. 

Rosan then went on to detail what she believed led to slander against her and the need for a lawsuit against the radio show host and the radio station.

'I have no affiliation with crazy people'- Burnett 

When contacted by Virgin Islands News Online for comments on the alleged lawsuit, Mr Burnett told our news centre, “I have no affiliation with crazy people.”

He added, "Some people are desperately seeking attention....and need a way to stay relevant."

In the Facebook post, Rosan also indicated that since June 15, 2022, she had taken the decision to end her time on Tola Radio, where she frequently appeared as a guest host.

It remains unclear when the alleged lawsuit was served.

    This is not normal behavior for anyone. She talks intelligently at times but then she becomes engaged in some other drama. I am getting tired of the drama. Each week or few weeks something else. Is there a psychiatrist that can explain what is going on? Can an evaluation by a health care professional be requested by the judge if this matter goes to court? These things are disruptive to the public’s peace.

    Heritage and Cindy are both hot heads. They don't know when to shut up or give up. I was listening when he had that argument with Dirk. Cindy and Dameon could not get him off the radio. I know she was mad from then. She should have kept out because it really did not concern her. She should not have had that show with Dirk because she knew her opinions differ greatly with his. She knew she did not agree with his side just excuse yourself from the discussion. She embarrassed Heritage because anybody listening knew she was throwing him under the bus even if she did not call his name. She needs to work by herself she is not a team player.

      No normal person would think to do what she did, why would she involve herself into that matter between those two. Seems like she was trying to discredit Heritage and his platform. If she can find that to be normal behavior she has major reasoning dysfunctions. Being a team player is putting it lightly. Anyway, it’s his fault for allowing her on his show. He knows she has issues with so many and she’s dysfunctional and can’t control herself.

      I agree with your last sentence and thought the same thing after listening to her a couple times both on Cut Deep and on Tola Radio. She reminds me of a person who once had a radio show and if you did not agree with him he would say to his cohost "Cut him off".... This person claims that she can work with any Government for the people, but I do not see this unless she is planning a strong opposition because it is either her way or the high way.

      The host of the controversial radio station strikes me the same way. You have to agree with whatever he says or he is ready to shut you up. I am tired of listening to his radio show and people have to beg him to let them finish a point - Stupes.

    While Tola Radio is quite popular, it is way below par when it comes to professionalism. I am not surprise that someone sued Mr Burnett although I was not expecting it to come from Ms.Rosan who had warned him several times about saying certain things live. I hope that this matter will be resolved amicably.and the Management use this period to examine it's direction forward. While speech is "Free" saying anything about a person without proof, that would harm their character, person or interest could cost you. Best wishes Tola Radio

    these are the folks some people wake up day after day to follow. look at the results; after all of the idol talk are our people any way forward. After all the lapping gumbs do you see a better future for our grandson and our granddaughters……try wake up black man and look around our community and take a good look at where we stand. All other races in this territory live so peaceful while we dragging down our own race. Not even going to mention the gun crimes !!!!!

    Heritage said two honest thing. SHE IS CRA** and CRA** looking. Ever watch Stephen King's Sleep Walker movie well you watch and tell me if you don't see the resemblance. She IS looking attention to get her own show hot. But it's good for Heritage cause that loud mouth C***T should have never been on a real show.

    At this point, in my opinion, Cindy needs to think about her children and how all this negative publicity she keeps getting caught up in, could be harming them psychologically. They are who should matter. When you have children you have to put them first. It’s no longer about just you. Cindy, please back down and focus on obtaining inner peace with yourself. All this fighting can not be healthy for you either. Start a new life and let go of all of this negativity. You can do it.
