‘Cindy’ blasts Governor Pruce as ‘not doing anything at all’

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – New Governor H.E Daniel Pruce has received a vocal flogging from controversial radio talk show host Rosemary L. Rosan aka ‘Cindy’ who has accused the Governor of being far less proactive than his predecessor, Mr John J. Rankin CMG since taking office in January 2024.

Rosan was at the time speaking on the April 23, 2024, edition of “The Morning Ride Show With A Side Of Politics’ on ZROD 103.7 FM radio in the Virgin Islands.

While reacting to the Governor’s latest update on suffering a dislocated shoulder she said even with the update, the governor remains missing, “he ain’t show up, he just show us his hand 'bruck' [broken]… ”  Mrs Rosan added while apologizing for the bluntness of her statements.

Rosan accused the Governor of "not doing anything at all" as compared to the previous Governor Mr Rankin, who kept quarterly updates on the implementation of the Commission of Inquiry recommendations in the territory.

She further accused the Governor of being all about ‘PR’ with pictures and videos of what he does without doing anything or addressing the people of the VI.

Shoulder injury treated 

Governor Pruce in a recent Facebook showered praises on the staff of Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital for their treatment towards him after he had cause to visit there due to a shoulder injury.

“I dislocated my shoulder last week - the legacy of an injury from many years ago,” Governor Pruce stated on the Office of the Governor's Facebook page on Monday, April 22, 2024.

His post was accompanied by a photo of himself standing in front of the Governor's Residence and the government-purchased Range Rover with his left arm in a sling.

      Only if she would put. The same energy and effort into calling out her failure Hon friend who she bend over backwards to defend. Who to me is worse the both the Gov and the Premier who she always jumping on. What has Lady in our corner accomplished? Just bla. Bla bla, no substance. We need her show, we like her show, just wish she would do it calmly, fairly, respectfully, unbiasly and learn to humble and listen. She would be internationally loved and admired.

    You all realized that Cindy got a problem with everyone in authority except the real problem...He trust and beloved friend in her corner. If you asked me she is the biggest failure most disappointing. She got elected as a saviour, a difference maker and she turned out to be none. Just an empty Barrel. That's why I stop taking Cindy serious... The Gov will act in his time. The Gov already have until May 31st to get their act together..

    The man was sworn into office just a few months ago. It is reasonable to believe that he has been busy conducting his own assessment. Maybe, it took him a whole month to just to read Cindy's file. It is so tasteless for her to have made these comments, while attempting some fake humanity about the man's injury. She is one of the reasons some people think we lack sophistication. She puts a fr#gg on freedom of speech, mi son. Governor, get well soon.

        She brought a professional decorum that Heritage could never in that zoo he runs in the morning. He has no patience and cuts his guests off after they are answering questions he asked, his questions usually have 8 different components and he wants a simple answer, he has no interviewing skills and he is not trying to learn any, he misuses words, always pushing the colonial narrative no matter what they issue is, struggles with pronunciations at times and smokes joints on lives! The show is a mess!!

Cindy have lived for a few decades, so will assume that she understands that leaders have and demonstrate different styles in managing problems/issues and may get the same outcomes.Unequivocally, former controversial UK-appointed Governor John Rankin, CMG, and current UK-appointed Governor Daniel Pruce may have different styles, reading from the same playbook. Still water runs deep, so time will tell on Pruce., An old BVI saying, “If you rush the brush, you get darb.” Cindy, as a true to the bone Virgin Islander should have heard about this. Moreover,,Guv Pruce has been on the job since Jan 24 and is going through his honeymoon. People who have gone through and experience the force and destruction of a hurricane knows there is a calm, a lull , before the onslaught of destructive winds, rain, flooding,,etc., Pruceis probably dotting the I and T, chilling before his fury, if any, is launched. Stay tuned Pruce is a player is a member team/cabal, residing at Mount Olympus. Be vigilant. Cindy knows all this, so it is either she is deliberate and want to stay in the centre of confusion, or wants to stay and be in the limelight, the media.

    Well I hope he has better communication skills and a sense of morality than Rankin or the one before him. Learn how to answer communications about serious matters or have staff willing to do the same due to the Governors work load. Many contact the Governor for many reasons and there is a lot that has been left undone. Don't take the
    confidential information or statements about ugly events in the BVI and roll them up and use them for cigar wrappers like Rankin. Deal with the matters. I hope someone in the Office of the Governor hasn't be a 'shredder' to get rid of evidence the incoming Governor should see. But when Pruce gets around to it, he should jail the past and present Commisioners of Police and a few police themselves. And have some Belongers arrested for not handing over stolen property they are known to have. The police should do that, but they don't function.
