True sportsmanship displayed- AISK

This was the thirteenth edition of the six-a-side tournament, which focuses on sports development and building relationships between schools, cultures and youth throughout the Caribbean.

The host school in a social media post following the weekend games said the players of both the boys’ and girls’ teams displayed “true sportsmanship” during the tournament.

“The success of the teams as they played each game wasn't because of a single ‘good’ kick or a single ‘great’ keep, but the chemistry they had in working together, on and off the field,” AISK said of the teamwork among the players.

Cedar Boys' team included Jasher Miller (Keeper), Lochlan Geyser (Wingback), James Tucker Davis (Wingback), Ethan Mohamed (Midfielder), Blake Kirk (Captain/Midfielder), and Charlie Potgieter (Striker).

The Girls' team included Giada Palladino (Captain/Keeper), Aerin Westlake (Wingback), Maisy Sutherland Pilch (Wingback), Camile 'Millie' Cottreau (Wingback), Kya Ridgway (Wingback), Zoe Patandin (Wingback), Charli Seddon (Wingback), and Eva Carey (Striker).

The teams’ training sessions were led by UEFA A Certified and Cedar Athletic Director John Reilly and License C holder Coach Alessandro Palladino.
