Cash & jewelry taken in early morning robbery in Long Bush

LONG BUSH, Tortola, VI- Police are on the hunt for a male who carried out an armed robbery on two persons around 2:30 am today, Monday February 24, 2020 in Long Bush, in the capital Road Town.
The incident took place in the parking lot of a well-known establishment in the area across from the BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC).
CCTV footage seen by our news desk shows a man dressed in black and face covered with a hoody pointing what appeared to be a gun at two males in the wee hours of the morning.
The armed man robbed the two men of jewelry and cash.
Video footage shows the men being forced to place their cash and jewelry in the robber’s back pack.
The value of the jewelry and amount of money taken are not immediately known, as police are currently investigating the matter.
