CARROT BAY, Tortola, VI- The 2019 Carrot Bay Cultural Fiesta in observance of Emancipation has begun with the Oliver Turnbull aka 'Ollie' Fisherman's Tournament.
Due to forecast of inclement weather, only two boats participated in the tournament this year and both returned with their healthy catch before the cut off time of 4:00 PM today, August 8, 2019.
Persons flocked the fisherman's ramp at Carrot Bay to get their purchase of fish that included Hard Nose and Red Hine.
The results of the tournament will be announced tomorrow, August 9, 2019.
