Caribbean Airlines wins four-star passenger experience award
Caribbean Airlines has been recognised for its outstanding customer service, earning the APEX Four Star Major Airline rating for 2024 based on passenger feedback from around the world.
The airline's achievement is particularly noteworthy, as the APEX (Airline Passenger Experience Association) awards are unique in their methodology. Unlike traditional industry accolades, these ratings are determined exclusively by passenger reviews, collected through TripIt® from Concur®, a popular travel-organising app.
In the 2024 assessment, nearly one million flights across almost 600 airlines were evaluated, with only 8% achieving the coveted Four-Star rating. Caribbean Airlines was among this elite group, marking its second consecutive year of recognition.
CEO Garvin Medera expressed pride in the achievement, emphasizing the award's significance. "This recognition reflects our passengers' confidence in us," Medera said. "While we continue to expand our operations, we remain laser-focused on providing a consistent, high-quality customer experience."
The award ceremony took place in Long Beach, California, where airline representatives accepted the honor on behalf of Caribbean Airlines. Medera also took a moment to acknowledge the airline's employees, crediting their "commitment and passion" as crucial to the company's success.
