TRELLIS BAY, Beef Island, VI- It is unclear if anyone was seriously hurt when a vehicle toppled on Beef Island this afternoon, Friday, May 5, 2023.

According to reports reaching our newsroom, the incident took place around 5:00 PM and appeared to be a lone-vehicle accident.

The circumstances surrounding the mishap are unclear.

The vehicle, an SUV, sustained broken windows and windscreen among other damages.

      there was oneven yesterday after you pass parakita close to where they have a lot of yachts / there was a body on the ground Also the ambulance was there

    I wasn’t driving like no fool. I know no one gonna believe me but there was two cats fighting on their hind legs and they stopped an chased my vehicle. I panicked and swerved, flip the whip and they ran off. But I’m okay thanks for asking.

    I see people speeding on this road all of the time and not slowing down going around curves. I saw a truck coming around the corner the other day and the truck tilted and I thought he would flip over, so I pulled all off the road onto the grass because he almost scared the crap out of me. I believe this accident today was nothing but excessive speed. No, I wasn't there but what else could have caused it? It was a bright sunny day all day.
