Capriccio robbed; Cashier gun-butted
According to reports reaching our newsroom, sometime before 10:00pm, a lone gunman entered the establishment and proceeded to rob the business.
A cashier was gun-butted several times before the gunman made off with the cash, said to be from the day's proceedings.
The cashier had to be rushed to Peebles Hospital for medical attention.
It is unclear whether anyone else was hurt or whether any rounds were discharged.
More details to follow.
Persons have blamed the lack of proper street lighting in the area of business as a reason for the brazeness of the gunman.
The two heavy duty street lamps that illuminated the area, before being destroyed by the hurricanes of September 2017, have not yet been restored.

Police should always patrol the capital since most business are there.
At least until the restaurants closes.
I knew it was just a matter of time before those gun men rob one of those restaurants.
Also why does Capriccio have money hanging around since morning.
They should know better than that.
They are rather close to the banks to do frequent deposits.
That alone does so much damage to NATURES LITTLE SECRET......tells the world it is no longer safe in the BVI.
Really sorry these low lifes had to inflict bodily harm to do what they would do with a gun anyway.. Our islands going to the dogs...
