Hear Dis Ya! Wah gwan on? The Above Round Rock mentality still in effect, eh. It seems the BVI has poorly educated its people. And as as consequence, its people are not competitive, requiring recruiting from the outside to fill positions, which Virgin Islanders should be able perform effectively. The BVI is dependent on food import to feed it, it depends on external skill labour to function, etc. This is not a diss on Mr. Regional Busika; I’m blaming the player but the game.

Hear dis ya! Virgin Islanders have been working in banking since the late 1950s/early 1960s. Pray tell why there is not a cadre of Virgin Islanders who can fill banking positions?

Is the BVI ready to move the next self-determination economic and political option?
