BVI Christian Council ‘saddened’ by yet another fatal shooting
Mr Yan Edwards, 42, of Long Look was gunned down in Parham Town, East End on February 6, 2023.
“We offer up our prayers to God for the family and friends of the victim, the BVICC said in a press release today, February 10, 2023.
It said wished to once again state that it “vehemently” opposes all forms of criminal activity and violence.
‘Let us continue to pray’
“As a Christian community let us continue to pray that the perpetrator(s) of this horrific act will come to the saving knowledge of God and repent and ask for forgiveness.
“We pray for everyone who is involved in crime of one form or another. We pray that by God’s grace everyone will work together to restore peace, calm and tranquility in these Islands.”
The BVICC said it also holds the Government of the Virgin Islands in its prayers and pray for wisdom in dealing with the fight against crime.
“We continue to pray for families, who are still struggling with the loss of loved ones and for the perpetrators of crime, so that they will be brought to justice and come to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

Because of selfish ambitions, (delete status or to seek superiority of attention or undeserving worship, due to fleshly craving, (gratification), by way of material gains, any way possible, etc., mankind has ditched, so to speak, unity his Creator, and others ethnic equal. It is unfortunate but true, we have accepted the adversary to caused illusion of our mind into thinking that falsity of physical union is in fact true Spiritual union with God.
True, many people believe that One God is one (Creator) others many, and many others favors evolution, others neutral. Multiple evidences proves that a Creator exist, is of One mindset, unlike the BVI Christian Counsel decisive mindset.

Never to rise again.
The choice is ours to make.
Chose life.
In order word, according to Christian teachings, the Church was commanded to subject itself in line with Christ teachings, as he has Himself subject Himself to God His heavenly Father's teachings. Because of the many variations of teaching being taught and teach by the Christian Counsel in the BVI, and in other Countries of this world, it is extremely difficult for one to believe in Christianity, if you were to gullible take the Christian Counsel of the BVI teachings for granted.
In spite of the many failures of the Christian Counsel in the BVI, and their inability to effectively help to slow the rise of violent crimes in the BVI, God, our Creator is not a figment of the human imagination, even though unseen by the human eyes, but in fact real.
Allowed me, please to ask you a question. Can you and I physically see the wind. No, we cannot, but we can feel the wind, and see it's on nature, daily. The air that we breathe keep us alive, even though we cannot see it.
Pray for faith to believe in Go the Creator of all creation, not man who also was Created.
Note: read Jeremy Chapter 17:5-12, and other related Scriptures.
