BVI bounce back to beat ‘Statia’ in St Maarten

The defending champions won 103-71 at the L.B. Scott Sports Auditorium.
Deon J. Edwin led the scoring for the BVI team with 17 points and also pulled 4 rebounds and made 5 assists.
The consistent Killven M. Samuel netted 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, while Adrian D. Joseph dropped in 12 points.
The St Eustatius challenge was led by Seam Smith, who recorded a game high 28 points. Lisandro Redan ended with 15 points.
The BVI, being officially represented by Bayside Blazers in St Maarten, had crushed Aruba 101-46 in their opening encounter on July 14, 2019 before surrendering 81-98 to Dominican Republic on July 15, 2019.
