You may have heard of guests on a talk show trying to personally insult me for taking a stand for the Freedom of Speech and refusing to be controlled by persons who do not have the greater interest of BV-Islanders at heart… You may wish me to retaliate in shouting matches but I see no need to stoop that low when we can first try to educate and uplift those who may have lost their way.

Local recycling co. seeks Gov’t approval to build recycling plant
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A local recycling company, Alkebulan Minds Recycling Inc, has stepped forward with a proposal to partner with the Government of the Virgin Islands to set up a state of the art recycling factory in the Territory, a project it says would end up providing employment to some 150 persons.

Electricity bills drop by some 47% amid COVID-19- BVIEC
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- On the heels of criticism that the BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) has been making it hard for customers to quality for amnesty for May, June and July, the Corporation announced that a reduction in the “recent month’s” electricity bills was as a result of the global decline in the cost of oil, and the corresponding by-products of same, such as gasoline and diesel fuel.
