ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Anyone looking for the right look for festival, without breaking the bank, can head down to Mi Amor Jewellers and HashTag on Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park where massive discounts are available in celebration of the 70th Anniversary of Emancipation Festival in the [British] Virgin Islands.

Mi Amor Jewellers and HashTag were featured on Retail Therapy on July 25, 2024, when Deputy CEO of Tortola Pier Park Limited (TPPL) Zoe J. Walcott and JTV reporter Cathy O. Richards had a grand time trying on the various jewellery and learning of the amazing offers available at both establishments located in the same building.

Chief Executive Officer of Mi Amor, Eileen Bourke disclosed that for Festival Fridays, the store is 15% off on Gucci and other jewellery.

What’s available @ Mi Amors?

Mi Amor Jewellers is the place to find a variety of Gucci Jewellery, which includes heart-shaped Gucci necklaces of different sizes and prices. “We are the heart and soul of it all,” Bourke remarked, adding that Gucci jewellery has evolved and that she was relieved as she was getting a little bored. “After 39 years of selling Gucci, I was like, ‘oh dear, this is lovely. Finally, I have a choice of something else’”.

“They will all be on sale for Festival Fridays, 15 percent off…and that goes for whether it’s the earrings to match, whether its guys for their earrings, whether its girls for theirs, or both. I always say, gold is uni-gender, and rings.

One of the items featured was a classic Byzantine necklace. “We are not afraid here in the BVI, we buy what we like, and I love that confidence. We set our own fashion trends, Bourke stated, adding that layaways are being offered. “Even with the 15 percent off, I will allow 30 days with the 15,” Bourke noted, saying she is sensitive to the “excruciatingly tight times”.

Bourke also disclosed that her customers are mostly local and that she always tries to get the best prices, by anticipating the market trend for gold when shopping her jewellery.

She said she also collaborates with local jewellers to make adjustments to jewellery.

Other items found at Mi Amor include Van Cleef inspired bracelets, sunglasses, Ingersoll watches, and bags of different top brands.

Big discounts!

A big offer currently at Mi Amor is 3 diamond rings at 60% off for Festival. This can also include 2 months layaway.

Bourke opined that Gen Zs are concerned with the planet and the environment and that is the inspiration behind her having lab created (CVD) diamonds at Mi Amors.

HashTag

Another aspect to Mi Amor is located upstairs- HashTag.

Available are masks for Rise & Shine Tramp, a wide variety of trending Anime products, ski masks, thigh bags, body rings and studs, hoodies, and the popular Squishmallow toys and bags.

Squishmallow is a brand of stuffed toy that was launched in 2017 by Kelly Toys Holdings LLC.

Meanwhile, HashTag also offers body piercing, with a special discount on naval piercing on August 2, 2024.

Don't know what you got. Everything I got from mi amor checked out 100 percent. Good quality, especially my diamonds. I even got them checked out by three different jewelers, over the time i have them. two on tortola and one from st.thomas while shopping over there. Got them cleaned and valued on different occasions. So its possible you got quality what you're money allowed.

Yea, they are budget friendly with low quality jewelry. I’ll stick to better reputable places. Don’t worry what I got, it was garbage.
